THE MANY FACES OF GOD: WHO IS GOD TO YOU?

What is your perspective on Who GOD is? Basically, what I am trying to ask is, Who is GOD to you? Ignore every general description of GOD in the books…dive deeper…think hard about it. Which of the attributes of GOD have you experienced on a personal level?

Dear one, your perspective of GOD sets the limits to what you can attain on earth and beyond.

When I say that GOD is wonderful, you can only fully understand what I mean if and only if you have met the GOD of Wonder and all possibilities. Your knowledge of that one quality of GOD decides how far your eyes of faith can see. It determines your mindset and ultimately, your reality.

A life of true freedom can only be lived if you have known the GOD of Love. That perspective changes everything when it dawns on you. How can the promises of GOD make sense to a man/woman who does not see GOD as the Embodiment of Love? Moses, Joshua and David knew HIM as the GOD OF WAR; ONE Who never bows the head, defends to the uttermost and delivers victory on a grand scale. So when David says, “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I’ll fear no evil for Thou art with me”, he said it with meaning for he had met GOD as the Shepherd.

If Joseph knew GOD as the Lifter of men, then it is because in the span of a few hours, he became Zaphenath Paneah, the prime minister of the greatest empire of that age. Nothing must have seemed impossible to him after that. He had known the GOD of the impossible. Esther met the GOD of perfect timing and I, Asantewaa, have met the GOD of limitless Grace.

HIS Attributes are vast and HE shows a peculiar aspect of HIMSELF to each person who wants to know HIM. It becomes something personal. It defines your relationship with HIM. And no one can take that understanding away from you because you did not just read it from a book, you lived it.
